The development of projection images and motifs. The wolf, wildcat and raven emblematise overlapping emotions, powers and movements across many mythologies and cultures. Following on from a Shipsides and Beggs Project show in Nantes in 2017 where the development of a crankie picks up notions of folksy moving image - this work takes the idea of shadows (Plato's cave etc.) and image making to occupy the cavern space of the Fundacion Barcelo Gallery in Mallorca - expanding a small-scale work well beyond it's physical dimensions. Continuing a play with scale, Reason Hope & Fear is installed with maquettes of a Canoe and the Mass of the World work (also made in full scale in Nantes). The wolf motif appears throughout SBP works inclkuding in The Lament of the Accolade Tree, La Cuisine 2018.
