Slide sequence of 87 slides documenting a man fishing off rocks on the Greek island of Naxos with a boom-rod. The sequence was shot over a 30min period and features the cyclical actions, positions and repetitions of the fisherman. The slides are projected and presented with remote control switch allowing the viewer to operate the slide carousel implicating the viewer in the timing, committment and in finding meaning in the work. In this action it may mirror the fishermans’ committment and engagement to his activity. A fish is caught.
